(For the overly geeky among us, that's Hollywood's "computer-generated imagery" -- not common gateway interface or computer graphics interface.)

The movie here is hella entertaining. Nothing new here except the small size. If they wanted to make it self-contained, it'd be Asimo-sized pretty quick.

Actually, it is quite different Earnest. Generally, you don't find that level of AI in robotics as the result of a 3 month project in which the control systems for balancing, walking, vision recognition, hand-eye coordination, etc. were all automatically created ... i.e. the robot learned to do all those things rather than being pre-programmed to do only exactly what the programmers wrote the programs to do.
