I'm trying to implement a HTML tab such that on the tabs has a "Submit" Button and Text Edit Box. When the user types types some text in the Edit Box and clicks on the button, the text will be shown within the same tab (similar to dynamic table).

Can someone help me in this? Links or samples will be greatly appreciated!

Sorry but I'm back-end coder and don't know much about JSP and front-end coding.

JSP is back-end coding. Please read this article to better understand what JSP is all about.

It actually sounds like what you are needing is client-side JavaScript.

Recently I have been using google web toolkit (open source) to deveop richer client side interfaces. What I like about it is that you can code in java and not some other front end language. The toolkit converts the code into javascript when you want to deploy. Before that you can use all the facilities of your IDE such as eclipse. For example you can use the debugger.

Here is a demo of the types of things you can do on the front end... http://www.gwt-ext.com/demo/
