Hi , I want to implement Ajax with JSF in my application. I have followed this link

http://www.jboss.org/jbossajax4jsf/docs/devguide/en/html/index.html .

i am trying to implement the example in this link

http://www.jboss.org/jbossajax4jsf/docs/devguide/en/html/GettingStartedWithAjax4jsf.html

This is my code.

<xxx:tab name="#{}" accessKey="u">

<h:panelGrid columns="1" width="100%" >
<h:commandButton styleClass="commandButton" value="#{}" >
_*<a4j:support event="onclick" reRender="XXXXX"/>*_
</h:commandButton>
<hutputText value="#{""}" />
<h:inputTextarea id="XXXXX" rows="25" cols="115" value="#{}" />
</h:panelGrid>
</xxx:tab>

at the highlighted point in eclipse it is giving warning Un Known tag <a4j:support>.

can any body give me the pointer where i am going wrong.

The same thing is posted in sun forums..

This is not a JSF problem. It's a problem using Eclipse. We have a separate forum for Eclipse and other IDEs, where you can find people who can give better answers to a question like that.

The best AJAX enabled JSF based web application can be done using ICEfaces framework. Try utilising it.

It has builtin AJAX enabled components so that you no need to worry abt implementing the AJAX part manually.

You need to have placed the tablib in the classpath and have declared the taglib in the top of JSP file.

I would recommend RichFaces (which is built on top of Ajax4jsf) over IceFaces.
