Hi,
I am new to portlets. I am working on portlet project. My requirement is i want to design a site for my client that site should support english and hindi. I will have a "hindi" link on my page when i click on that every thing should be changed to hindi langauge. I got information from IBM help site how i can add hindi language(adding hindi locale). but the problem is when i create a page in english labels are coming in english when i click on hindi link labels remain in english but they should come in hindi.I am using websphere portal server version 6 with basic portlets.

Thanks in advance

WebSphere Portal 6 provides good tag support for locale switching on click of a link. The general steps to do so is
1. Add the Language markup in the portlet configuration
2. Define resource bundles with default, en and hindi locales. The general format to name the bundles is <bundle-name>_<locale-name>.properties
3. Refer to IBM Portal Version 6 help center for the tag support to define the locale switching link.

You will also have to define the bundles to be used in every page, as sindicated in the IBM Information centre for Portal 6.

Hope the above helps.

Regards
Pankaj
