NameNotFoundException if the rmiregistry restarted  RSS feed

In my application, if the rmiregistry is killed or close abruptly, we are restarting the rmiregistry.

Next time whenever application tries to contact an object using the URL exposed, we are getting the javax.naming.NameNotFoundException since this object has to be re-registered.

Since the rmiregistry is closed silently, application will only know it whenever the object exposed is used next time.

Is there any means by which the application will get to know that the rmiregistry has been closed?
