Hi all,
Just searched for the debugging techniques that can be used while developing J2ME apps, could not find one so started a post.
Please post your debugging experiences ( related to j2me ) here, so that there can be a place to find all the info at a place.

Thanks,
Abhay

Problem : I was not able to read the stacktrace ( it looked something like this below :
Running in the identified_third_party security domain
java.lang.NullPointerException
at net.j2me.app.BaseApp.readLine(+19)
at net.j2me.app.BaseApp.readStrings(+17)
at SecureSMS.<init>(+15)
at java.lang.Class.runCustomCode(+0)
at com.sun.midp.midlet.MIDletState.createMIDlet(+34)
at com.sun.midp.midlet.Scheduler.schedule(+52)
at com.sun.midp.main.Main.runLocalClass(+28)
at com.sun.midp.main.Main.main(+80)
Execution completed.
3390327 bytecodes executed
)

Analysis :
Here the number in brackets is the opcode returned by the JRE on phone.

How to debug :
use the age old technique to print messages. It always works ...
