Hi

when i tried to run an applet ,I am unable to view the applet softphone and a default message is displayed like

If you're experiencing some problems viewing the applet, check your java plug-in control panel :
- In the Proxies tab, uncheck the "Use browser Settings" box
- In the Cache tab, uncheck the "Enable Caching" box

But when i open the control panel, and clicked the java icon. There are tabs like General,Update,Java,Security,Advanced. No other tabs like proxy and cache are found.Am i correct in opening the java plug in properties? If not How should i open the java plug in control panel?Any help would be appreciated

Thanks.

The tabs may have been rearranged and/or renamed. Check all the tabs for the afore-mentioned items.

Make sure you restart all browsers that use the Java Plugin after you make any changes in the control panel; otherwise the changes will not take effect.

Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: EDU/oswego/cs/dl/util/concurrent/ConcurrentHashMap

That's (at least part of) the problem. You need to get hold of the jar file containing Doug Lea's concurrency classes, and add that to your applet tag's archive attribute.

Due to tis build failed ,the war file created is not working.I have to clear this before running an applet.Any idea regarding why the build gets failed?

The presence of unsubstituted Ant variables like "${warname}" indicates that you have not defined those variables. You need to set those with the correct values before the build will run. A brief look at the error messages indicates that there are at least 5 such variables that have no values.
