I need to write an app to control (start, stop, rewind, fast forward, locate blocks) a SCSI attached tape drive on a Windows 2003 box. I can find support for this on JavaOS, but I cannot seem to find anything as to how to do this in Windows. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Does your tape drive have a command line interface as it does under unix? If so you can call that from Java.
