Hello to All...
Is it ok that when java1.7 happened to release i am given SCJP for Java-1.5 version?
Reason is that i am familiar with Java1.5 features like Generics, Autoboxing, Annotation, For-each Loop and others.

I have one more Q's regarding Backend service used for this website-
Since this site is used for discussion over Java Technologies then why CGI is used in place of Servlets?
May be my second Q's is irrelevant(Sorry for that)

Thanks in Advance.

Hi Ravindra! Welcome to javaranch.

The second question is answered here

It's perfectly alright that you are giving SCJP 1.5. It's not obsolete yet. But I would recommend you to go for 1.6. The 1.5 and 1.6 exams are mildly different. You can find the details in the FAQ. The link to the FAQ is in my signature...
