Hi Pramod...

I am afraid your question is not clear enough. Can you explain your problem clearer and more directly?

Thanks.

Hi dude,

I believe that you don't have to call a specific method on the sun's interface. Those methods have the responsibility to manipulate the database.
To book the record you could have to following steps like :

1 - find ( calling find() method )
2 - update ( calling update() method )

Or you just have the position of the data in the file and just call

1 - update

Or even has a very complex process

1 - verify connection type
2 - remove record from memory
3 - update the gui
4 - verify data integrity
5 - update the record.

Well this is the way that I believe it is and my interpretation of your question.

Thanks

If the interface doesn't provide you the appropriate method, you can create your own interface that extends the interface provided by Sun and add the new method. That was how I had done in my URLyBird assignment.
