Hi everybody,

I am happy to share with you that I am now Certified Web Component Developer from Sun. Today I have given SCWCD exam and got 86%.

The individual scores on each section are as follows:

The Servlet Technology Model----------------------------------83%
The Structure and Deployment of Web Application---------------75%
The Web Container Model---------------------------------------71%
Session Management--------------------------------------------71%
Web Application Security-------------------------------------100%
The JSP Technology Model-------------------------------------100%
Building JSP Pages using Expression Language-----------------100%
Building JSP pages using Standard Actions--------------------100%
Building JSP Pages Using Tag Libraries------------------------87%
Building a Custom Tag Library--------------------------------100%
J2EE Patterns-------------------------------------------------83%

Minimum Passing Score : 70%
My Score : 86%
Correct Answers : 60 out of 69

At my level, I felt this exam is little difficult. This exam, after changing the pattern, has most of the question on applicability and very few are knowledge based.
So, if anybody is giving this exam, be prepared for the same.
And I got only one Drag and Drop question which I expected 4 to 6.

My Preparation Kits:
HFSJ and Whizlabs and other mock exams in internet.

Regards,
Chinna

Hi Thank you everybody,

I have read HFSJ for SCWCD4 completely. And I also bought Whizlabs simulator for SCWCD 5 which has got 4 mock practice exams and 1 mock final exam. After read HFSJ book I started giving mock exams (except final mock) many number of times, this way I got familiarity with different types of questions and more clarity on concepts too. finally yesterday (Sunday) I took mock final exam in which I got 88%. When I gave mock exams many number of times and revising the answer my understanding of concepts getting better and better. This way I could achieve this. I also took mock exams from SCWCD Links.

Hope this will help.

Thanks,
Chinna
