Reading a word file in html

Hi :

I have a MS-Word file residing on server, which I want to be shown in the html. How can I do that? I have already tried POI but the result are not the way it is expected. (tables in word document are not shown as expected)

How are you performing the conversion? How is the result different from what you expected it to be?

A different approach would be to use OpenOffice in server mode - it can open Word files and save as HTML files. Since OO has a Java API, you can use it from your Java code. There's also a library called JODConverter that may be helpful.
