Hi All,

From last more than 5 years, I am into software development side. My co. takes project of other organizations like banks, telecom, govt sectors etc. And then develop software for them. Thus I am on vendor side.

What I have notice is that: Being on the vendor side, the customer always remain dominant on us and we always face strict deadlines to give delivery on time. Now since I am part of this from 5 yrs; I am fedup of this process. One project finishes and other comes. And for every new project we have to start from scratch etc.

On the other hand, our customer/clients are always in a relax mood. Going home on time, following up deliverable from us (vendor) and calling meetings for project status.

I have decided to move towards client side and say BYE BYE to vendor side. For this I am trying to find jobs/vacancies where my skills could be adjusted. I have good development skills and experience also good experience in handling clients.

But I am unable to build a search query (with right keywords) which could help me of what I am looking for? Can somebody tell me or in fact guide me that how I can search/find organizations where I can be fitted? In other words, I want to quit from development and vendor side and cash/utilize my expertise by being a part of an organization like banks, govt sectors etc.

Bye,
Viki.

Thanks for the reply.

Actually, I meant how to locate/target IT jobs in "state bank, reserve bank, civil services etc". Normally, I use keywords (java, j2ee, websphere, uml etc) in search engine. So it returns development jobs from vendors. But not jobs from "state bank, reserve bank, civil services".

So How I target/locate IT related jobs in banks?

Bye,
Viki.

Your best bet would be contacting with job site's counselor and tell
them what you want and the rest is up to them , they will take care of it.
However,they ask for commission.

It's very hard to search what you are looking for.As you know banks and government sectors usually
does not advertise in job sites. The newspapers are the medium for them.

best regards,
omi
