Hello javagurus,


I have done SCJP 1.4 and what would be better option to do shall I go for scjp1.5 or scjp1.6?


please suggest me

Of course, SCJP 1.6, it s good to be up to date in Java technology

and there is not a far difference between SCJP 1.5 and SCJP 1.6, so go for it !!

You can search or ask regarding SCJP 1.6 in this forum.

Hi Harish,

Study scjp 1.6 (310-065) and take the exam on upgrade scjp 1.6 (310-066) per my opinion. Since there are less questions to attempt but the fee is the same ie $300.00.

you can take up 1.5 or 1.6. only few difference. I would advise you to prepare for SCWCD. That will advance your certification level.

but i rather go for scjp first and then switch for scwcd upgrade exams cause me have done scwcd 1.4.
And I am reading Head First Java 2nd edition i think this will be a good option am i right?
