Hello All,

Did any one of you purchase or find RMH book for Web services for SCJDWS 5.0? I know there is a Beta version available to take, but would it be a good idea to wait for couple of more months to take the original exam (Not Beta version) :!: for 5.0 version. Apart from JAX-WS , is there any other difference between SCJDWS 1.4 and 5.0 version?

Right now, SCDJWS 5.0 beta is not available to take, we need to wait for public version.

Thank you Kengkaj,

Do you have any idea if RMH has come up with his book for SCJDWS 5.0 ? I tried to search in Amazon and EBay, but could not find it?

"mayureshtrivedi Software Engineer", you may have missed that we have a policy on screen names here at JavaRanch. It must consist of a first name and a last name. Since yours does not conform with it, please take a moment to change it, which you can do using the "My Profile" link at the top of the page.

As to the question, it is highly unlikely that there will be a new version of that book. RMH has stated publicly, and in no uncertain terms, that he thinks the whole WS-* stack and its Java implementation are misguided, and not the right way to provide WS. So I think think his enthusiasm about a new book on that will be just about zero.
