Hi,

I would like to know what the job availability in Europe(mainly Poland, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Greece) for a Junior java developer is(1 year ex, degree in Information's Systems Engineering). It is not for permanent position but more of a work/travel situation. I would also like to know what the average pay would be in those countries and the real value of the money(eg: enough for rent, food, transport...) Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Like the above post says, it is terribly difficult in Europe to get a job with 1 year of experience.

I dont know about other countries , but Greece has openings, but salary ranges are very low around 800-1000 Euros for jr Java developers.
Of course , Cost of living is relatively low here in Greece compared to other european cities.

A Brit developer friend of mine from IRC told me there are more .net jobs in Europe than Java.
