Hi,
I have two command window . In first command window i was running the some java code

If i was execute a batch file from second command window the java program will stop in first command window.

Is any command is there to stop the java program. and also i want to know is any optional argument in the command...

Please guide me....

There is no simple command to find a particular Java process and stop it from an external source. You would have to write your Java application to be able to accept external commands, such as by listening to a Socket or running a messaging system like RMI or CORBA (though these last two are probably overkill if all you want to do is listen for a shutdown command).
