Happy new year, coderanchers!

I'm using this bit of code to allow only one user to perform an operation.

Any problems you might forsee ?

Regards,

Pho

Well, it doesn't prevent more than one user from performing an operation at the same time, since different users will be synchronizing on different objects. It does prevent a single user from doing more than one thing at a time. Is that what you actually wanted?

Yes that was what I wanted to say:

that is, no one can log in multiple times with the same userid and perform the edit function concurrently.

This is to prevent people from sharing the user account.

Thanks

Pho
