Hi All,

Can anyone please tell me how to make a managed server] in weblogic 10.1 as a windows service so that when system restarts the managed server will also get restarted like Admin Server and Node Manager.

Thanks,
Ricky

Yeh I know it but here I want that if my server or deployed app crashes due to some issues .
Is there any way to make the deployment always active. so that if by chance app crashes it will again try to make it up!!!.
Like a cronjob in Linux is there anything in windows making a batch file and schedule it to chack the services periodically and if it crashes then try to make it up agagin.I need the instaructions to check services status and start it if down.

Thanks,
Ricky

Hi,

The only way i guess is to enable the "Auto Restart " parameter so that Nodemanager will monitor the status of the server and restart this server if it crashes or otherwise or goes down unexpectedly.

Can you point me to the location where/how can I enable "Auto Restart" Parameter for servers.
So that Nodemanager will monitor the status of the server

In Services AutoRestart is only when SystemReboot Happens.

IN WEBLOGIC CONSOLE :-

Go to SERVERS -->CLICK ON ANY SERVER ---> CONFIGURATION ---> HEALTH MONITORING

HERE YOU CAN SEE THE OPTION TO ENABLE AUTO RESTART.
