You have to be very clear with all concepts explained in K&B book.Finishing the K&B book is not an easy thing it takes lot of time.

You should have good knowledge on all chapters

Well you will have to read the book from the first chapter normally. If you are new to java, then you can go for some other book like Java the Complete Reference or Thinking in Java or Head First Java. That would be a better way to start then K&B book.

Best of luck for your preparation

From the first chapter..

And no matter how many days it will take to finished the book, it's about how much you grasp and understand the concepts. So my suggestion would be, don't turn the page unless and until you got it thoroughly.

Ankit is just right. Don't hurry with the exam , your first priority should be to clarify your concepts as they come.
Complete reference is a must before starting of with K&B.

Be very active when reading K&B book.. You must know all concepts of K&B book before exam. This will really work...
All ranchers told me same to me....so be patient and keep reading K&B.....

Best Of luck!!!
