getting 404 error in JSF

hi,

I am using JSF1.2 and Tomcat6.0.18.

When i am running my program(as well as in IDE) i'm getting 404 error.

Please do help me as i'm the beginner.

Make sure the tomcat server is started, if yes are you getting the default home page of tomcat?

A 404 simply means that either the URL is wrong (case matters!) or that the resource is actually not there.

It is, otherwise he wouldn´t get a 404.
