Changes required in deploying java application on websphere 6.1 ?

Hello Everybody, I am working on a java application( in which java 1.4 and WebSphere 5.0 version is used).

But now I have to deploy that java application on Websphere 6.1 version with JDK 1.5 .
So now can anyone please guide me what all changes may be required.?

According to me. changes are :

1. Search jar files for jdk 1.5
2. Config files , what needs to be change..?
3. Compile java files in JVM 1.5
4. what else...please guide me...!!!

You shouldn't need to do anything at all. You definitely don't need to recompile any of your code.

I'll move this to our Websphere forum in case there are any WS-specific details.

I just did that conversion for our web application. I had to enter the Websphere configuration over again, but there weren't any significant changes. There were no changes to the Java code required.
