Custom tag scenario

Can someone give me a real world scenario as how to use custom tags for a particular web based application?

Common code meant to be reused makes for a good tag library (or tag file.) For example, a navigation menu widget.

Ok, suppose, you have a web form, and a usual formatting is something like below,

<tr>
  <td>label1</td>
  <td><input type="text" name="text1" id="text1" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
  <td>label2</td>
  <td><input type="text" name="text2" id="text2"/></td>
</tr>
.
.
.
<tr>
  <td>label3</td>
  <td><input type="file" name="button1" id="button1" /></td>
</tr>

So, for this you can write a custom tag, which looks something like this in use,

<ct:text label="label1" name="text1" id="text1" />
<ct:text label="label2" name="text2" id="text2" />
.
.
.
<ct:file label="label3" name="button1" id="button1" />
