JPQL Query

This is with reference to the object model shown in the book Pro EJB 3 - Java Persistence API page no 193

Is the below same as (in terms of result)

Select d,e
From Department d JOIN d.employees e

select d,e
From Employee e JOIN e.department d

??

Please dont ask me to try it out.As right now i do not have a computer that has as application server etc installed on it

I am just trying to figure out if my understanding is correct

Yes, it will be same.
