I am using StarUML for my SCEA assignment. Is it possible to create a component and a class with the same name?
I tried to create a component "SearchProcessorEJB" but was getting "Name Conflict" since I already have a class with the same name.
Any suggestions other than placing the diagrams in different models?!
Thanks.

Enter white space might do the trick. Anyway, StarUML is strange, even create 2 classes with the same name, should not be a problem in UML.

Solution for Name conflict error is given even if class is deleted

just open the <name>.uml file in some other editor and find the word which one is conflicting and replace with the original one which you want to replace and replace too as well which is last deleted StarUml take reference of all deleted diagrams and names,

I did it in same way and its working smoothly.
