i've created 3 classes as

package root.dirA
classA
{

}
similarly classB,classC and place classfile in directories dirA,dirB,dirC respectively
now my class is set in environment variable c:\program files\java\jdk1.5\bin;

the root directory is in A directory i want to use -cp and i execute the classA,classB,classC with different combinations of -cp i can use?

I didn't understand this. Did you set the classpath environment variable to this or the path environment variable. You don't need to set the classpath environment variable to this directory...

I know what environment variables are but the main question is, did you set the CLASSPATH environment variable to
c:\program files\java\jdk1.5\bin;
or the PATH environment variable??
