i've seen most of the people around here have done SCWCD before they take on SCDJWS.

how important is it clear SCWCD before I take on this exam.

I have done SJCP, I am planning to do SCDJWS.

I know this is a 'depends upon your capability' scenario. But tell me what your experience says.

Thanks

Hi Shailesh,

It is not required to do SCWCD certification for SCDJWS.If you have a bit of knowledge on JSP/Servlet it will help you in running sample codes on java webservices.

You could do SCDJWS without doing SCWCD and SCBCD but you need the have some knowlegde over servlets/jsp and EJB because you can use them for making the webservice. So knowledge over them would be helpful. If you doesn't have knowledge over them then you should learn this during the preparation of SCDJWS.
