Hi all,

I've been working with ajax components and I'm stuck with the following problem:

when doing a reRender, the components don't get updated no matter what. I'm using Internet Explorer 7 and Apache Tomcat 5.5. The really strange thing is when I try my app outside my machine, in somebody else's computer, with same browser and container. I haven't found a reason for this to happen, can any body sugest me with ideas to find where the problem might be?

thank you very much!

Javier

Ajax leans on Javascript. If Javascript is disabled in client, then Ajax won't run. But if Javascript is enabled and Ajaxical stuff doesn't work, then you need to check if the Javascript code is correct. A decent webbrowser ships with a JS console where in you can find the error details. There are also webbrowsers plugins/extensions where in you can debug and track JS code. For example Firebug and Web Developer Toolbar for Firefox.

Yes I will do that ;)

which I can't count on, since a requirement for the system I'm working on is to use IE 7, that's a shame, I know...

Yes I know, again, Firefox is a more decent browser, but I need this stuff to run on 'that' other browser... I'll take a look at javascript code as you kindly suggest...

thanks!
