Hi All,

I am trying to use the plugins provided by Quartz.
This is my quartz.properties

This is the jobs.xml

I have this code in my Web.xml

This the exception I am getting when I start the server, I tried the solution provided on the internet but the entry was the same as the solution provided.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

It looks like it is unhappy reading your quartz job configuration file. Have you tried running it through an independent XML editor/parser such as Stylus Studio?

I think you are validating your jobs.xml before filtering takes place (I can see ${0} references etc), can you validate it after thos properties have been evaluated to real values?

Hmm, can you upload your file here? I'll try to run it through Stylus Studio

Thanks a lot.

But for some reason it is not allowing me to attach .xml or .txt or .html or .zip format.
This is the entire code I have in jobs.xml

OK, your problem is that

verison="1.5">

should be

version="1.5">

Notice the small typo

Hope that helps!

I noticed this.
If I add

in my quartz.properties I do not get the exception. But the job does not execute either.

Thanks

I'm a little confused, the original error

..
..
/xml/job_scheduling_data_1_5.xsd
25 Jan 2009 12:26:28,515 ERROR Digester:789 - Digester.getParser:
java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: This parser does not support specification "null" version "null"
at javax.xml.parsers.SAXParserFactory.setXIncludeAware(Unknown Source)
..
..

Should no longer be there with the fix to the version attribute. Are you getting _exactly_ the same error message?

I had the same problem.
The exception occurred because an old version of the SAXParserFactory was used.
To fix it, I had to remove the xalan, xerces jar file from the classpath so the default SAXParserFactory of the jdk 1.5 would be used.

Hope this will also help you.

Regards,
