Hello All,

I've tried to install Apache Tomcat 6 on my Windows Vista Home Edition System.

During the set-up, a dialog box pops up that suggests that I abort the set-up and check my settings and permissions. If I select ignore Tomcat doesn't install properly.

I'm sure I'm not the first one to have this problem, but I couldn't find similar references when I searched for this problem.

My hunch is that it's something trivial, but I don't even know what to try to fix this problem.

As suggested by the bartender, I've moved my post.

Regards,

Steve

Welcome to JavaRanch

I think it would be appropriate to move this thread to our Tomcat forum; it isn't really a "Java in General" question.
