interoperability objective - EJB 3.0 / EJB 2.x

This is what the syllabus objective has to say about interoperability:

Identify correct and incorrect statements or examples about EJB 3.0 / EJB 2.x interoperability, including how to adapt an EJB 3.0 bean for use with clients written to the EJB 2.x API and how to access beans written to the EJB 2.x API from beans written to the EJB 3.0 API.

Should one read the complete chapter 14 of EJB3.0 in Action book? As far as I understand-

sections 14.1, 14.2, 14.3 are relevant. But are we expected to know 14.4, 14.5 and 14.6 for the exam as well? These three are causing pain in the !

Please help!

I think that if you just know how to use an EJB2.x from an EJB3.x, and vice-versa, you'll be fine.
