Hey guys actually in joined inheritance type I am not getting the value in the Discriminator column of parent class...

Suppose the discriminator column of parent class is "type"...and the value of that type in corresponding child classes are "A" and "B"...
Now when instance of child class is created then the corresponding value of the discriminator should get inserted in the parent table...but this is not the case which is happening with me ....the type column is inserted with "null" values.....cant get the case here...

Jitendra,

You start new topics for new questions. The OP is trying to use a discriminator column with a strategy that does not use discriminators. Your problem is different. I suggest you start your own new topic and TellTheDetails. We need to at least see the relevant mappings with a clear description of YOUR problem.
