what do you mean by link?? Are you not able to run javac and java commands?? If yes then you need to put the bin folder of your JDK installation in the PATH environment variable...

I presume you have been through the Java Tutorials? Look at that section, particularly the "common problems" link. You might not have set your PATH; there is a link in "common problems" to setting your PATH; you ought to set your PATH "permanently."

You ought also to create a convenient folder or directory to keep your Java work in, and you ought not to set up your CLASSPATH at this stage.
