I didn't know where to post this.

I have been tasked at my company to create a codebase just like Sourceforge.com. It needs to have wiki capabilities for documentation and download/upload features and web based. This is all new to me so sorry if some of my points aren't clear. My question is how could I do this? The source code repository would be hosted at site on its on server and it would be open only to developers here at the company. So no one from the outside can search for code. Is there any software out there that can do that? Does Sourceforge or any other source code websites have a stand alone app that can be deployed in a business environment?

Hi, First you try to see list down what you want..
1. Wiki
2. SCM Server
3. Bug tracking tools and so on.

Then go and search in web to free or commercial Wiki. Check their features and see whether it can support your needs.
Example: commercial: Confluence; Free: MEdiawiki, pbwiki, tikiwiki and so on

SCM Server, the best way would be to find some SVN hosting provider or setup your svn server.
Look at GIT as well. GIT is pretty smarter than SVN or CVs and so on.

Regards
Balaji
