Hi parag! Welcome to javaranch.

Well J2SE is a normal version of java for desktop application development. J2EE or Java EE is enterprise version of Java for building web applications.

I think Java-General-beginner forum is more appropriate for this question...

Google it. There are many examples of what is J2SE, J2EE, J2ME etc etc.
