If I buy a Dell laptop from the UK or US, and take it to Pakistan, will the warrantly still be valid? I know they have a setup in India, but if something breaks in Pakistan, will Dell refuse to fix it since the laptop is not in the country it was brought in (I am refering to the 1 year collect and return service, where Dell picks the laptop up, fixes it, and then returns it to the user).

A friend wants to send it to Pakistan, but is worried that Dell won't support it there. Is he better off buying it from their neighbours in India?

Thanks, but it asks for a country before continuing, and Pakistan is not listed.
