Hi i have files at server machine's specific location and using java application, can i write all the file at client machine's specefic location ?

I don't want to give a save as dialogue to client.

When the client select (check boxes) multiple file and click on the save button all the checked files should get saved to client machine's perticular folder say for example C:/My document/Download// folder

Which michenism should i use ?

Think about this for a moment. Think about the security implications of this.

Now, do you think this is something that's possible?

Not with JSP/Servlet.

Consider a signed applet or webstart application if you really, really have a hard head in this.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
