i am using tomcat5 and apache 2.2, mod_jk.so and oracle 10g as the back end data base
i am facing strange problem

when i access servlets from localhost if i type the ip address of the host after the request is processed by the tomcat i am getting a url where the ip adrress is changed to local host

now when i access the servlets from remote host its browser displays it cannot display the page but when i enter the url of the static web pages i am able to access them.

i am not able to find out what is happening

please help

Not sure how you have coupled things together. Recently I published post about fronting Tomcat with Apache, Apache in front of Tomcat and JBoss. See if this solves your problem.
