I'm using Nokia E71. I installed my J2ME application the device. Then filled up the phone memory to as much as possible. Now tried to remove my app. The device gave a warning that the delete cannot be done and to free up some memory. However, I go ahead and again choose the Remove option for the app.

Now the app gets deleted (Free memory increased), but the app icon remains on the device. Freeing up more memory (around 34 MB) and restarting the device also does not get rid of this icon.

Something can be done in my app to handle this or it is a limitation of the AMS?

Regards,
