Depends on the pranks ofcause, but I'll assuming that he's a real pain.

"Rakesh Joshi said: Control yourself" ?

Hell no.. if my neighbours kid was a little punk I'd drag him to his house
and have a little chat with his parents. If he doesn't start to behave after
you've confronted his parents a number of times (with the kid present) you
might want to consider to get a painball gun, or a mean dog

Well, here in the U.S., if the kid's pranks are destructive in any way, or if they involve trespassing on your private property, or if they violate the noise ordinance that many communities have, then you can call the police. If the police come by and talk to the parents, however briefly, it generally has a remarkable effect on the child's behavior.

Otherwise, I would imagine that in many civilized societies talking with the parents yourself would work almost as well.

Purchase some plastic made animals and put them hanging in your house.

Dont forget ... you did the same things when you were a kid.

I dont think you behave like a mature man in your childhood days.

Ofcourse its painful sometimes. Imagine if u have one/two own kids like this..... u will get used to it after sometime and start enjoying rather than complaining. Have fun venkatesh.

Kids raised properly do not behave like little monsters. It's as simple as that.

Try giving Supernany DVDs as a gift to your neighbours - they should get the hint. If that doesn't change anything, buy the kid an entire SouthPark season DVDs - if they don't care, why should you!?
