Tag files not working ...

Hi could anyone tell me why my tag isn't working properly??
For the following tag file:


And the jsp:


The tag file is saved as durans.tag and the jsp is saved as trueMaster.jsp...The only thing that I see in my browser is:

Where you have saved your tag file is crucial factor. send us your web application directory structure

Structure is like this:

Duran/WEB-INF/tags/durans.tag
Duran/trueMaster.jsp

i have been requesting the JSP directly without use of MVC..Is that a problem??

Hi Duran Harris,

i think you have not added the taglib directory correctly.

it should be something like <%@ taglib prefix="Duran" tagdir="/WEB-INF/tags"%>

but in the code you didn't mention the % and @ symbol.

The tagdependent spelling is also wrong in the code. Please check that too.

I tried in my system and then only, i replied for this question.

its not showing any error here in my system.

please post the error the FireFox shows.
