Hi All,

I need to know if there is any minimum time difference limit defined between SCJP and SCWCD, like for re-exam (SCJP) there is limit of 14 days.

Thanks in advance and sorry if this is not the right platform to raise such question.

Your SCJP exam results have to be processed first, or you won't even be eligible for the SCWCD. But as soon as they are, there shouldn't be any time limit.

Hi Rob,

Thanks for the reply. But as stated how much time does it take for the results to be processed.

Thing is I have two vouchers with me which are expireing on 28th of this month. due to work commitments I was not able to appear for the exam earlier. Now I am planning to appear for SCJP on 14th. So will I be able to appear for SCWCD on 28th?

I passed my SCWCD on the 19th of January, and the final certificate came in last week - just over two weeks. But the confirmation email already came in the day after the exam, and the email asking me to apply for my SCEA came in two days later.

All in all I would say that two weeks should be enough. I just hope that Sun agrees with you.

You're right; I thought that given at least one of the JEE certificates was required because of the image at http://www.sun.com/training/certification/java/index.xml. Guess not.

Still, I think that within one week you should be able to take the next exam.
