I find myself in an awkward situation when some one compliments me; I end up saying something stupid that turns people off..
I cant stop smiling even when saying a thank you..

What is your response?

Yeah, I know I feel the same way.

I suggest to start off, just say "Thank you very much"

Then start to practice giving some compliments. This is the one that is actually tougher for me, but it is important to give compliments to people, and to accept them well.
