Don't dispair. Some of my posts can be useful

While looking for work

-- Learn Java and then JEE (JSP, Servlet, JDBC, JNDI, etc)

-- Learn SQL and XML

-- Learn some of the sought-after frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, and Struts.

-- Learn design patterns and design concepts

-- Learn integration technologies like Webservices, JMS, etc.

Good luck

Since you already have worked on struts, so I assume you know core java, jsp with tag libraries as well.

So start learning Spring core & hibernate. In parallel start looking out for job.
After you get job learn rest of the technologies which Arulk mentioned in parallel to job.

Just curious. Do you have any information on what the success rate is for Non-SAP people wanting to join the SAP arena? I have seen many of my friends trying to switch over and I observed that only a handful managed to get in after a determined effort.
