Very cool stunts - hard to say when the CGI kicked in...

Apart from the cool stunts was the movie good ? I didnt like MI 2 all that much. I am planning to see Munich , V for Vendetta and may be MI 3. How does it compare to the other MI s ?

I thought it was really good - lots of good performances. It ain't Hitchcock, but then, it's not supposed to be. Hoffmann was great.

In the meanwhile, maybe a Bollywood director could remake the movie and add some much-needed musical numbers.

I was dissappointed and found it seriously lacking in the Stunt Department. 2 repeats of the classic suspending from a wire stunt (yawn) which is now rather cliche. Other than that only the swing between buildings was vaguely exciting.
I heard someone snoring behind me and I have to admit I was almost falling asleep too ... I can't put my finger on what it needed but it definitely needed SOMETHING to pick it up.

And an elephant. Tom Cruise's films need more elephants.

I won't see it. Tom Cruise antics aside, I saw MI: I and was sadly disappointed. I thought it failed miserably to do the original series any justice at all. I didn't see MI: II.

I am excited, however, about the new Pirates sequal coming out. As well as X-Men 3. X-Men 3 looks a lot darker than the first 2, which I think will be good for the series.

I watched MI-III and..and..I liked it!! other than the cool graphics, I felt the movie had more heart than the earlier ones, you could really feel for the hero..something not very common in action movies..

I hated MI(1) the first time I saw it for the same reason Gregg did: it had nothing to do with the great, late, lamented TV show. A movie about how Martin Landau ended up married to Cinnamon -- that I'd want to see!

But the second time I saw MI(1), I tried and mostly succeeded in appreciating it on its own merits. But then MI(2) was a pale imitation of the first, and a rare threequel that's actually worth shelling out 9 bucks for. I'll wait for the DVD.

Dont bother spending your hard-earned Java money on this one , please. I was sleeping after the first 30 mins and the only thing which kept me from running away was my girlfriend who is a Tom Cruise junkie. Imagine my surprise when after the movie she asks me "What was the Rabbit's Foot ?" - Priceless. I think this will be the end of the MI series.

I used to like the re-runs of the original TV show MI. Is there any channel in the US that plays these re-runs??

Sadly, i got the same opinion of the majority, MI:III disappoints . Stunts are not that cool and the storyline is also weak.In the end, even i was wondering "what the hell is the Rabbit's foot???" .

I have liked the previous 2 parts of MI. Sad to say, part 3 disappoints. Now i am eagerly waiting for X-Men III.
