Hi all I've got a HTML version of Paul's jar file. Personally I'm in two minds if its really worth something. If you are interested let me know I'll e-mail it to you (352 KB).
It depends what the 'real' content is. The source as HTML with links and other 'extras' or the doctype-API (which one should build oneself). Meaning: it is not totally clear to me what the 'offer' is.
The source as HTML with links to the other source files that are part of Paul's jar file. There are no links to the Sun classes. I'm still stryng to figure out how to add that.
On its way Greg. The size is 166Kb by the way and not 352Kb. I zipped some exta stuff. Simply unzip in you root it will create a test dir select index.html in that dir [This message has been edited by Johannes de Jong (edited October 24, 2001).]
The 'javadoc' should be adjusted? I mean build a new one which does 'other' things (too). Such that it generates HTML-source with links and the API. Or only HTML linked source.
Peter I used this software to create the HTML. [This message has been edited by Johannes de Jong (edited October 24, 2001).] (Marilyn fixed link) [ July 23, 2003: Message edited by: Marilyn de Queiroz ]
Dear Johannes, The link to Java2HTML is very worthwhile. So let people use it themselves ?! Is it a good idea to put the result of com\javaranch\common\*.java somewhere here (e.g. cattledrive)? Buy Peter
