Hello all, I'm looking for an open source online rich text editor that I can include it in my JSP pages and have JAVA api so I can manipulate its content and replace tokens...etc

can anyone help me, thanks you all.

you think I didn't!!! I DID, and I found a lot, but all are JAVAScript written and do not provide JAVA API, if the provide JAVA APIs then they are applets and I don't want applets, I'm looking for a custom tag that takes care of this and provide some library to manipulate the text.

For JSP you may not get custom tag kind of implementation, perhaps you can write one by wrapping DHTML editor.
For JSF you will get well packaged component as you like.

The only way to get a client-side Java API is through Applets.
