Hi All
Can any one please tell me how to use Eclipse IDE for the code present in a remote UNIX machine.
Actually our code is present in a remote unix machine and we are accessing the code using the EDITPLUS editor.
Not only Eclipse, is there any IDE that is flexible to access the code present in remote machine.

Remote Debugging is built into the JVM. Any client program that wishes to can access it as long as the JVM was launched with remote debugging enabled. All it needs to know is which TCP/IP port the debugger is talking on, and you set that as one of the JVM startup options.

Eclipse supports remote debugging quite well. So do most other Java IDEs, even Emacs.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
