I had developed a application name learning management system a online tutorial using jsp and servlets . now we are going to shift total application to new technology where the database management and maintenance is easy and the coding part to be easy. i came to a conclusion to use either spring or hibernate. can you suggest me whether to use spring or hibernate. since i have to learn both the technologies newly. since i have less time say 3 days which technology is most preferable and easy to learn.kindly reply me soon.
Can you give me the url where i can easily learn and grasp these technologies both theoretically and practically with in 3 days.

Hibernate and Spring aren't competing technologies (actually they are quite complementary).

Hibernate is an Object Relational Mapping (ORM) tool and Spring is a Dependency Injection (DI) tool. Hibernate will map Java objects into the database, providing you with an object-oriented front to a relational database. Spring allows you to use an inversion of control pattern to wire components together, but additionally provides you with frameworks for doing web MVC, AOP, managing transactions, implementing DAOs, etc.

Start with hibernate.org and springframework.org.

Oh ya... and in my experience there is no way that you'll adequately learn either technology in 3 days. Sorry to burst your bubble.

To finish off Javid's post, you might want to use both Spring and Hibernate together. Works wonderfully well.
