Today I have recived my SCDJWS beta mark sheet from prometric. Yet not recived certification kit from sun. But certmanager status says its mailed on last 8th. So may be this week I do recive my kit.

Mark sheet says 65 questions was in exam and 42% is passing score.

I don't know how questions are calculated. and which questions are deleted. Any way I Passed with 55%. I used only 3 days of preparation. Not bad compare to passing score of 42%

42%? Anybody answers about 4 of 10 questions in this exam correctly is qualified to be a SCDJWS 5.0?

Maybe this exam is too tough.

I can't believe that.

Is it the lowest passing score test from Sun ?

regards,
MZ

UPDATE:

Says : Pass score: 68% (47 items of 69 questions)

I am from Germany and have received the score sheet, too.
My personal impression was that the beta was very tough, even if you had experience with JAX-WS and other WS-related technologies.
Perhaps the low passing score is for beta participants only, because the final exam will have easier questions or so (this is just speculation), and otherwise it would not be fair for the beta participants.

The beta test is harder than the final test because the beta were very long and tiresome, and probably there was bad questions which were removed. So, it is natural that the beta has a lower passing score.

I got the score too, I'm in Canada. My passing score is 55% too.
Not a good score, but I'm happy I passed.

I passed with 72%.

I've never seen a score so low (42%) from Sun, even for a beta exam!

I believe it's a copy-and-paste from the previous version exam.

If I remember correctly, in SCEA 5 passing score of Beta exam and final exam are the same.

I received the score too but not yet the certification kit. I'm from Romania. It was a tough exam, and I believe that many failed it, that's why the passing score is so low. I'm not sure how many of you have the score greater than the real exam passing score 68%. I'm happy with my 62% due the number of questions and the lack of time and good preparation material.

Anyone from India got the score sheet from Prometric/Sun ?

The harder you work, the luckier you get. This tiny ad brings luck - just not good luck or bad luck.
